Oh Hello!I’m Kaitlyn Mecham
It takes tremendous courage to reach out for help! Congratulations on taking your first steps towards growth and healing.
Asking for help is hard but you don’t have to face it alone. I'm here to break down barriers and walk with you on your path to growth and success. Finding a counselor can be intimidating, overwhelming, and at times frustrating. It is my hope that you can find the very best fit for yourself, and I would be honored to accompany you on this journey.
My Approach
I believe strongly in action-based care and challenging unhelpful behavior and thought patterns. I will often use interventions based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.
I am passionate about providing a safe place for individuals to process through their past and current trauma and, therefore, utilize trauma-informed interventions as well.
By nature, I am a creative individual and love to incorporate creative modalities into my treatment, as appropriate.
