Psychological Assessment
Psychological evaluations and personality assessments help uncover cognitive and behavioral strengths and weaknesses, deepen understanding of personality patterns, features, and styles, and provide insight into how these impact your functioning and experience of the world.
You will be given a detailed report that can be used to guide your treatment to ensure you receive the best, personalized care that suits your needs.
Testing can also offer valuable insights to deepen your self-awareness and highlight internal barriers and areas for growth.
Think of them as tools to better understand your unique story and help you define a clear path forward.
Find the support you need and the care you deserve.

Perinatal therapy is a specialized form of individual therapy that focuses on the unique mental health, life, and relational challenges associated with pregnancy and the postpartum period. Individual therapy addresses a much broader range of concerns across various life stages.
-
Yes, couples therapy can help foster healthier communication, conflict resolution, and connection. You and your spouse/partner will have the space to address issues or patterns that are hindering your relationship and move toward lasting change.
Individual therapy can also address relational difficulties and help you identify areas within your control that impact your relationships. You'll have support to process challenges, find new perspectives, and make positive changes within your relationships.

Choosing between group therapy and individual therapy depends on your personal needs, goals, and comfort level. Individual therapy offers one-on-one attention and focuses on your unique experiences and challenges. It’s ideal if you’re looking for highly personalized support or have specific concerns you want to address.
Group therapy, on the other hand, provides a supportive environment where you can connect with others facing similar challenges. It allows you to gain insights from shared experiences, practice communication skills, and feel less alone. It’s a great option if you’re seeking connection, different perspectives, or a sense of community in your healing process.
Both approaches can be valuable. If you’re unsure, we can discuss your options during a consultation to help determine what’s right for you.

The No Surprises Act
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers must give patients who don’t have insurance or who aren’t using insurance an estimate of their bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, hospital fees, and appointments.
Health care providers are to give you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, please visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059

Yes, I am an in-network provider for most Blue Cross of Idaho plans for individual therapy and perinatal therapy only. At this time, I am out-of-network with all other insurance companies. For private pay clients, I provide a superbill upon request. You can submit the superbill to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
I don’t accept insurance for couples therapy because most plans don’t cover it. Insurance requires a diagnosable mental health condition to justify treatment, but in couples therapy, the focus is on your relationship, not an individual’s diagnosis. To work ethically and fairly, I believe it’s important to treat your relationship as the client—without labeling one partner as the “patient.” This allows us to focus fully on improving your connection and addressing challenges together.
Individual therapy can also address relational difficulties and help you identify areas within your control that impact your relationships. You'll have support to process challenges, find new perspectives, and make positive changes within your relationships.

Please remember to cancel or request to reschedule 24 hours in advance. You may be held responsible for the entire fee should you cancel within 24 hours or fail to show up for your scheduled appointment without notice (“no-show”), excluding emergencies. Cancellations and re-scheduled sessions may be subject to a full charge if NOT RECEIVED AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. Insurance does not cover late cancellation or no show fees. Payment of this fee will be expected before the next scheduled session.
