CHILD & ADOLESCENT THERAPY

Supporting children, tweens, and teens through every stage of growing up.

Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, emotional regulation, friendships, school stress, confidence, or simply not seeming like themselves lately - therapy can help. We provide a safe, supportive space where kids and teens feel understood, and where parents feel less alone in navigating it too.

WHEN MIGHT THERAPY HELP?

As a parent or caregiver, it can be hard to know when typical growing pains may be something more. You might notice shifts in your child's mood, behavior, confidence, or relationships, and feel unsure how to help.

Often, children and teens communicate through behavior before they can fully express what they're feeling. You may recognize some of the following:

  • Frequent worries, fears, or anxiety

  • Emotional outbursts, irritability, or meltdowns

  • Low confidence or self-esteem struggles

  • Friendship challenges or social stress

  • School pressure, avoidance, or perfectionism

  • Difficulty coping with transitions or family changes

  • Grief, loss, or difficult life experiences

  • Feeling disconnected from your child or unsure how to help

If any of this feels familiar, therapy can provide a supportive space for your child and your whole family.

SUPPORT TAILORED TO EACH STAGE

Every stage of growing up brings its own challenges. We work with children, tweens, and teens in ways that are developmentally appropriate and specific to where they are, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Early Childhood | Ages 6–10

Younger children often experience big emotions before they have the words for them. Therapy at this stage is interactive and play-based, helping kids build emotional awareness, confidence, and coping skills, while keeping parents closely involved in the process.

pre-teen years | Ages 11–13

The tween years are full of change - social pressures, shifting friendships, growing independence, and emotions that can feel bigger and harder to manage. Therapy helps tweens navigate this in-between stage with more confidence and less overwhelm.

TEEN YEARS | AGES 14–17

Teenagers today face real pressure - academically, socially, and internally. Therapy gives teens a confidential space that's theirs, where they can process what they're carrying and start to feel more like themselves again.
